Typical videos

A typical video to a pop song, would be happy, bright and cheery. It would typically consist of happy people doing cheery things, jumping around, skipping on the beach. For example One Direction - What makes you beautiful. They are seen as, bright, good looking guys, jumping about and running on the beach in their song, which is what you would expect in a pop music video.
Blink 182 created a parody video - All the small things 20 years before the One Direction video, and their video can be seen as a parody video of What makes you beautiful, showing a typical pop music video, however creating a parody, ehich happened to be shot at the sme beach as the One Direction video.

Nickelback - Rockstar, the decided to get the fan involved, which made a good music video because it shows the fans being involved with their hero. This is not a typical rock video, as a normal rock video would consist of them singing live, or a rather old video.

In my opinion I feel that the video sells the song more than the song itself, this is because the song All the small things, you need the video to really enjoy it
